Braj Shrivastav

Brij Shrivastva was born on 5th September 1966 in Vidisha. He has completed his education with M.Sc (Mathematics), M.A (Hindi), M.A (English), B.Ed. He is the former editor of Dainik Vidrohi, a literature magazine. He is also a guest columnist in Navduniya, kala Samay and Chauthi Duniya. He has contributed through his poems, reviews & translations to the literary world which have been published in newspapers including, Rasrang, Lokrang, Subah Savere, Navdunia, Sahara Samay, Rashtriya Sahara, etc. Brij Shrivastav’s Contemporary literature has been published in magazines like - Pahl, Hans, Naya Gyanodaya, Katha desh, Bayaan, Wagarth, Tadbhav, Outlook, Friday,Contemporary Indian Literature, Current Literature, India Today, Duniya inn dino, Shat Dal, Vasudha, Samved, Yathavat, Aksar, Rachna Samay, Kala Samay, Poorv Grah, Das Baras and Jansatta. His poetry recitation has been conducted in Jabalpur, Khandwa, Bina, Jaipur, Dewas, etc by Madhya Pradesh Literature Academy and Progressive writer’s association. He has also been an active participant of several Poet Gatherings and Open mics. Brij Shrivastava has been honored twice with All India Divya Award and a couple of local level awards.
